What is God’s definition of beauty?
We see in scripture that God’s definition of beauty is the complete opposite of what the world has taught us. Acts 13:22: “After removing Saul, he made David their king. Rather, it should be that of your inner self, the unfading beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is of great worth in God’s sight.”
Does God call us beautiful?
God gave us beauty, because through it we bear His image (Genesis 1:27).

It’s not a sin to wear nice colors, look put together, use accessories, etc. Of course, the way you dress shouldn’t force attention to your body and ideally it should bring attention to your face. A young person does not want to feel like they’re sinning for wearing makeup, or normal trendy clothes, or what have you.
